Matthew 9: ³⁶When he saw the crowds, he felt sorry for them. They were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. ³⁷He said to his disciples, "A large crop is in the fields, but there are only a few workers. ³⁸Ask the Lord in charge of the harvest to send out workers to bring it in." (CEV)

Matthew 11: ²⁵At that moment Jesus said: My Father, Lord of heaven and earth, I am grateful that you hid all this from wise and educated people and showed it to ordinary people. ²⁶Yes, Father, that is what pleased you. ²⁷ .... The only one who truly knows the Father is the Son. But the Son wants to tell others about the Father, so that they can know him too. (CEV)

Matthew 18: ¹²Let me ask you this. What would you do if you had a hundred sheep and one of them wandered off? Wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine on the hillside and go look for the one that had wandered away? ¹³I am sure that finding it would make you happier than having the ninety-nine that never wandered off. ¹⁴That's how it is with your Father in heaven. He doesn't want any of these little ones to be lost. (CEV)

Matthew 28: ¹⁹Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, ²⁰and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world. (CEV)

John 4: ³⁵ .... I tell you to look, and you will see that the fields are ripe and ready to harvest. ³⁶ .... Then everyone who planted the seed and everyone who harvests the crop will celebrate together. ³⁷So the saying proves true, "Some plant the seed, and others harvest the crop." ³⁸I am sending you to harvest crops in fields where others have done all the hard work. (CEV)

John 15: ²⁶.... The Spirit will help you and will tell you about me. ²⁷Then you will also tell others about me, because you have been with me from the beginning. (CEV)

1 Corinthians 9: ²²When I am with people whose faith is weak, I live as they do to win them. I do everything I can to win everyone I possibly can. ²³I do all this for the good news .... (CEV)

2 Peter 3: ⁹The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost. (CEV)

3. When can a small group be available to help God find and reclaim those who are straying?
4. Why does the Bible tell us to shine like lights to the people around us in our daily lives?
