Exodus 20: 8 Remember that the Sabbath Day belongs to me. 9 You have six days when you can do your work, 10 but the seventh day of each week belongs to me, your God. No one is to work on that day… (CEV)

1. Why do you think God rested after He created the universe?
2. Does the Sabbath Day commandment apply to us? How?
3. How can we honor God by resting and sleeping?
4. Does God really speak to us at night and in our dreams?
5. Describe the "rest" that Jesus offers.
Reflective point: In our busy lifestyle, the Fourth Commandment is often the most overlooked - and yet it is the only commandment in which God directly demonstrated by example. Consider obeying God by seeking adequate rest in your life.
