Beautiful Wonders Around Us Show the Power & Wisdom of God
Ice-Breaker:Describe how you have used your eyes to see some of the beauty of Creation.

Psalms 93: 1Our LORD, you are King! Majesty and power are your royal robes. You put the world in place, and it will never be moved. 2You have always ruled, and you are eternal. Psalms 94: 9God gave us ears and eyes! Can't he hear and see? (CEV)
1. What is so wonderful about being created by God with ears and eyes?

Nehemiah 9: 6You alone are the LORD, Creator of the heavens and all the stars, Creator of the earth and those who live on it, Creator of the ocean and all its creatures. You are the source of life... Proverbs 3: 18Wisdom is a life-giving tree... 19By his wisdom and knowledge the LORD created heaven and earth. Proverbs 8: 22From the beginning, I was with the LORD. I was there before he began 23to create the earth. At the very first, the LORD gave life to me.  (CEV)
2. How do wisdom, power, and intelligence play roles in creating this world and life?

Isaiah 40: 21Don't you know? Haven't you heard? Isn't it clear that God created the world? .... 28Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The LORD is the eternal God, Creator of the earth. Isaiah 42: 5I am the LORD God. I created the heavens like an open tent above. I made the earth and everything that grows on it. I am the source of life for all who live on this earth...  (CEV)
3. Why did God, as the source of our lives, design and create so many amazing things?

Isaiah 45: 12I created the world and covered it with people; I stretched out the sky and filled it with stars.... 18The LORD alone is God! He created the heavens and made a world where people can live, instead of creating an empty desert. The LORD alone is God; there are no others. Jeremiah 10: 12With your wisdom and power you created the earth and spread out the heavens.

Acts 17: 24This God made the world and everything in it. He is Lord of heaven and earth... 25He doesn't need help from anyone. He gives life, breath, and everything else to all people.... 27.... He isn't far from any of us, 28and he gives us the power to live, to move, and to be who we are. "We are his children," just as some of your poets have said.  (CEV)
4. When God gives us the power to live, move, and be, what does He expect of us?

Romans 1: 20God's eternal power and character cannot be seen. But from the beginning of creation, God has shown what these are like by all he has made. That's why those people don't have any excuse. Colossians 1: 16Everything was created by him, everything in heaven and on earth, everything seen and unseen, including all forces and powers, and all rulers and authorities. All things were created by God's Son, and everything was made for him. Hebrews 1: 2But now at last, God sent his Son to bring his message to us. God created the universe by his Son, and everything will someday belong to the Son.... 10The Scriptures also say, "In the beginning, Lord, you were the one who laid the foundation of the earth and created the heavens  (CEV)
