John 8: 31Jesus told the people who had faith in him,
"If you keep on obeying what I have said, you truly are my disciples. 32You
will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Acts 14: 15.... Turn to the living God, who made
the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. 16In times
past, God let each nation go its own way. 17But he showed that
he was there by the good things he did. God sends rain from heaven and
makes your crops grow. He gives food to you and makes your hearts glad.

1. What impresses you the most of all the daily gifts that God keeps
on supplying?
Acts 17: 22So Paul stood up in front of the council
and said: ".... 24This God made the world and everything in
it. He is Lord of heaven and earth, and he doesn't live in temples built
by human hands. 25He doesn't need help from anyone. He gives
life, breath, and everything else to all people. 26From one
person God made all nations who live on earth, and he decided when and
where every nation would be. 27God has done all this, so that
we will look for him and reach out and find him. He isn't far from any
of us, 28and he gives us the power to live, to move, and to
be who we are. "We are his children," just as some of your poets have said.....
30In the past, God forgave all this because
people did not know what they were doing. But now he says that everyone
everywhere must turn to him. 31He has set a day when he will
judge the world's people with fairness. And he has chosen the man Jesus
to do the judging for him. God has given proof of this to all of us by
raising Jesus from death. (CEV)
2. Why should God's gifts of live, movement, and being cause us to
turn to Him with thanks?
1 John 3: 16We know what love is because Jesus gave
his life for us. That's why we must give our lives for each other.
John 3: 16God loved the people of this world so much
that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have
eternal life and never really die. 17God did not send his Son
into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them! (CEV)
3. Describe how the love of God and Jesus works out in practical everyday
living.
Acts 4: 12Only Jesus has the power to save! His name
is the only one in all the world that can save anyone. (CEV)
4. When people fail to examine the teachings of Jesus, what draws them
away from Him?
Colossians 1: 9.... In fact, we always pray that God
will show you everything he wants you to do and that you may have all the
wisdom and understanding that his Spirit gives. 10Then you will
live a life that honors the Lord, and you will always please him by doing
good deeds. You will come to know God even better. 11His glorious
power will make you patient and strong enough to endure anything, and you
will be truly happy. (CEV)
5. How can we honor and please God by our decisions and by the way
we do good deeds
