1 Relationships & Community. How can we be sure what gifts God has given us?

Acts 2: ⁴⁶Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely, ⁴⁷while praising God. Everyone liked them... (CEV)
Relational Path 1. When you have been blessed by others. How did they display Christ's love?

Acts 18: ²⁷.... After Apollos arrived in Achaia, he was a great help to everyone who had put their faith in the Lord Jesus because of God's kindness. ²⁸He got into fierce arguments with the Jewish people, and in public he used the Scriptures to prove that Jesus is the Messiah. (CEV)
Intellectual Path 2. When is it best to use this approach with others?

Luke 22: ²⁷Who do people think is the greatest, a person who is served or one who serves? Isn't it the one who is served? But I have been with you as a servant. (CEV)
Serving Path 3. What can we learn from Jesus about serving one another?

Luke 10: ³⁹.... Mary... sat down in front of the Lord and was listening to what he said.
2 Timothy 3: ¹⁵Since childhood, you have known the Holy Scriptures that are able to make you wise enough to have faith in Christ Jesus and be saved. (CEV)
Contemplative Path 4. What can we gain from contemplating? More scriptural examples?

Colossians 1: ²⁸We announce the message about Christ, and we use all our wisdom to warn and teach everyone, so that all of Christ's followers will grow and become mature. ²⁹That's why I work so hard and use the mighty power he gives me. (CEV)
Activist Path 5. How can we be sure we are activists in the right direction?

Psalms 104: ²⁴Our LORD, by your wisdom you made so many things; the whole earth is covered with your living creatures. ²⁵But what about the ocean so big and wide? It is alive with creatures, large and small. Acts 14: ¹⁷But he showed that he was there by the good things he did. God sends rain from heaven and makes your crops grow. He gives food to you and makes your hearts glad.(CEV)
Creation Path 6. What is the benefit for the person who has never heard the Word of God?

Psalms 150: ²Praise our God! His deeds are wonderful, too marvelous to describe.... ⁶Let every living creature praise the LORD. Shout praises to the LORD! (CEV)
