Psalm 119: 37Take away my foolish desires, and let
me find life by walking with you.
40I long for your teachings. Be true to yourself and let

Romans 7: 24What a miserable person I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is doomed to die? 25Thank God! Jesus Christ will rescue me.... (CEV)
Romans 8: 5...Everyone who is ruled by the Holy Spirit
thinks about spiritual things. 6...if our minds are ruled by
the Spirit, we will have life and peace. 8...If we follow our
desires, we cannot please God...
10But Christ lives in you. So you are
alive ... even though your bodies must die... 11... God raised
Jesus to life, and he will raise you to life by his Spirit...
23... we groan silently, while we wait
for God to show that we are his children... 24And this hope
is what saves us... 25... we hope for something we have not
yet seen, and we patiently wait for it.
27All our thoughts are known to God...
28We
know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him...
31... If God is on our side, can anyone
be against us? 32... won't he freely give us everything ...?
37In
everything we have won more than a victory because of Christ who loves
us... 39... Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's
love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord. (CEV)
