Book 1 - Chap 2 - How God Teaches Us To Be Good Servants:             grp023
The Wonder of God's Greatest Promise.
Ice Breaker: :Describe the animals and birds you saw around your childhood home.

Luke 23: 41We got what was coming to us, but he didn't do anything wrong." 42Then he said to

Jesus, "Remember me when you come into power." 43Jesus replied, "I promise that today you will be with me in paradise."(CEV)

Luke 16: 18Things that are seen don't last forever, but things that are not seen are eternal. That's why we keep our minds on the things that cannot be seen.
25Abraham answered, "My friend, remember that while you lived, you had everything good, and Lazarus had everything bad. Now he is happy, and you are in pain. 26And besides, there is a deep ditch between us, and no one from either side can cross over."
27But the rich man said, "Abraham, then please send Lazarus to my father's home. 28Let him warn my five brothers, so they won't come to this horrible place."
29Abraham answered, "Your brothers can read what Moses and the prophets wrote. They should pay attention to that."
30Then the rich man said, "No, that's not enough! If only someone from the dead would go to them, they would listen and turn to God."
31So Abraham said, "If they won't pay attention to Moses and the prophets, they won't listen even to someone who comes back from the dead." (CEV)

2 Corinthians 4: 18Things that are seen don't last forever, but things that are not seen are eternal. That's why we keep our minds on the things that cannot be seen. (CEV)

2 Corinthians 5: 1Our bodies are like tents that we live in here on earth. But when these tents are destroyed, we know that God will give each of us a place to live. These homes will not be buildings that someone has made, but they are in heaven and will last forever..... 6So always be cheerful! As long as we are in these bodies, we are away from the LORD. 7But we live by faith, not by what we see. 8We should be cheerful, because we would rather leave these bodies and be at home with the LORD. 9But whether we are at home with the LORD or away from him, we still try our best to please him. 10After all, Christ will judge each of us for the good or the bad that we do while living in these bodies. (CEV)

Colossians 3: 11 You have been raised to life with Christ. Now set your heart on what is in heaven, where Christ rules at God's right side. 2Think about what is up there, not about what is here on earth. 3You died, which means that your life is hidden with Christ, who sits beside God. 4Christ gives meaning to your life, and when he appears, you will also appear with him in glory.  (CEV)

2. Why is it fair for God to make allowances for people in extenuating circumstances?
3. Why does God send His sun and His rain on both good and evil people?
