Luke 1: ³⁰Then the angel told Mary, "Don't be afraid! God is pleased with you, ³¹and you will have a son. His name will be Jesus. ³²He will be great and will be called the Son of God Most High. The Lord God will make him king, as his ancestor David was. ³³He will rule the people of Israel forever, and his kingdom will never end. (CEV)

Matthew 16: ¹⁵Then Jesus asked them, "But who do you say I am?" ¹⁶Simon Peter spoke up, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God." (CEV)

John 10: ⁹I am the gate. All who come in through me will be saved. Through me they will come and go and find pasture...
    ¹⁴I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep, and they know me. ¹⁵Just as the Father knows me, I know the Father, and I give up my life for my sheep. ¹⁶I have other sheep that are not in this sheep pen. John 15: ¹...I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. ²He cuts away every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit. But he trims clean every branch that does produce fruit, so that it will produce even more fruit...
    ⁷Stay joined to me and let my teachings become part of you. Then you can pray for whatever you want, and your prayer will be answered. ⁸When you become fruitful disciples of mine, my Father will be honored. (CEV)

Matthew 20; ²⁸The Son of Man did not come to be a slave master, but a slave who will give his life to rescue many people. (CEV)

1 Timothy 4: ¹⁰We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of everyone, but especially of those who have faith. (CEV)

Mark 14: ⁶¹...The high priest asked him... "Are you the Messiah, the Son of the glorious God?"  ⁶²"Yes, I am!" Jesus answered. "Soon you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right side of God All-Powerful, and coming with the clouds of heaven." (CEV)

2. How do we know that Jesus really came down from and went back up to Heaven?
3. What are some ways that we can make Jesus' teachings part of us?
4. How does weekly meetings in a group help us bear the fruit that honors God?
