John 3: 16God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. 17God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them. (CEV)
John 6: 37Everything and everyone that the Father has given me will come to me, and I won't turn any of them away... 39...he wants me to make certain that none of the ones he has given to me will be lost... (CEV)
John 10: 27My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow me, 28I give them eternal life, so that they will never be lost. No one can snatch them out of my hand. (CEV)
Romans 8: 31... If God is on our side, can anyone be against us? 32... won't he freely give us everything ...? 37In everything we have won more than a victory because of Christ who loves us. 38I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love-- not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future, 39and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord. (CEV)
Acts 10: 34Now I am certain that God treats all people alike. 35God is pleased with everyone who worships him and does right, no matter what nation they come from. (CEV)
Acts 17: 26From one person God made all nations who
live on earth, and he decided when and where every nation would be. 27God
has done all this , so that we will look for him and reach out and find
him. He isn't far from any of us, 28and he gives us the power
to live, to move, and to be who we are. "We are his children," just as
some of your poets have said...
31He has set a day when he will judge
the world's people with fairness. (CEV)
2 Peter 3: 9...God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost.... 15Don't forget that the Lord is patient because he wants people to be saved. (CEV)
Matt 18: 14... your Father in heaven. He doesn't want any of these little ones to be lost. (CEV)
1 John 5: 13All of you have faith in the Son of God, and I have written to let you know that you have eternal life. (CEV)
1 John 3: 24...The Spirit that he has given us is proof that we are one with him. (CEV)
1. How do we know that God will guide, protect, and save us even more
than our parents?
2. Why did God use Jesus' life to show us what our Heavenly Father
is really like?
3. What does the Spirit living is us do to give us assurance and proof
of God's love?
4. When we meet together weekly to discuss our life as Jesus' followers
