Matthew 11: 27...The only one who knows the Father is the Son. But the Son wants to tell others about His Father, so that they can know him too. 28If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest. 29Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. (CEV)
John 17: 2And you have granted him power over all people, so that he would give eternal life to everyone you give him. 3Eternal life is to know you, the only true God, and to know Jesus Christ, the one you sent. (CEV)
John 6: 37...everyone that the Father has given me will come to me, and I won't turn any of them away.. 39...to make certain that none of the ones he has given to me will be lost. (CEV)
John 14: 23"If anyone loves me, they will obey me. Then my Father will love them, and we will come to them and live in them.... 26But the Holy Spirit will come and help you, because the Father will send the Spirit to take my place. The Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I said while I was with you. (CEV)
John 15: 11I have told you this to make you as completely happy as I am. 12Now I tell you to love each other, as I have loved you. 13The greatest way to show love for friends is to die for them. 14And you are my friends, if you obey me. 15Servants don't know what their master is doing, and so I don't speak to you as my servants. I speak to you as my friends, and I have told you everything that my Father has told me. (CEV)
Romans 8: 31... If God is on our side, can anyone be against us? 32... won't he freely give us everything ...? 37In everything we have won more than a victory because of Christ who loves us. 38I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love-- not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future, 39and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord. (CEV)
Ephesians 1; 17... The Spirit will make you wise and let you understand what it means to know God. 18My prayer is that light will flood your hearts and that you will understand the hope that was given to you when God chose you. (CEV)
1 John 4: 19We love because God loved us first. 20But if we say we love God and don't love each other, we are liars. We cannot see God. So how can we love God, if we don't love the people we can see? 21... "Love God and love each other!" (CEV)
