Luke 12: ³²My little group of disciples, don't be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom. ³³Sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves moneybags that never wear out. Make sure your treasure is safe in heaven, where thieves cannot steal it and moths cannot destroy it. ³⁴Your heart will always be where your treasure is. (CEV)

Mark 10: ²⁸Peter replied, "Remember, we left everything to be your followers!" ²⁹Jesus told him: "You can be sure that anyone who gives up home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or land for ma and for the good news ³⁰will be rewarded. In this world they will be given a hundred times as many homes and brothers and sister and mothers and children and pieces of land, though they will also be mistreated. And in the world to come, they will have eternal life." (CEV)

Luke 15: ²... "This man is friendly with sinners. He even eats with them." ³Then Jesus told them this story: ⁴If any of you has a hundred sheep, and one of them gets lost, what will you do? Won't you leave the ninety-nine in the field and go look for the lost sheep until you find it? ⁵And when you find it, you will be so glad that you will put it on your shoulder ⁶and carry it home. Then you will call in your friends and neighbors and say, "Let's celebrate! I've found my lost sheep." ⁷Jesus said, "In the same way there is more happiness in heaven because of one sinner who turns to God than over ninety-nine good people who don't need to." (CEV)

Acts 2: ⁴⁴And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything with each other, ⁴⁵selling their possessions and dividing with those in need. ⁴⁶They worshiped together regularly at the Temple each day, met in small groups in homes for Communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness, ⁴⁷praising God... Romans 8: ¹⁵God's Spirit doesn't make us slaves who are afraid of him. Instead, we become his children and call him our Father. ¹⁶God's Spirit makes us sure that we are his children. ¹⁷His Spirit lets us know that together with Christ we will be given what God has promised(CEV)
