1 Corinthians 7: ¹⁹...The important thing is to obey God's commands. ²⁰So don't try to change what you were when God chose you. (CEV)

1 Corinthians 15: ³I told you the most important part of the message exactly as it was told to me. That part is: Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say. ⁴He was buried, and three days later he was raised to life, as the Scriptures say. (CEV)

Philippians 1: ¹⁸...All that matters is that people are telling about Christ, whether they are sincere or not. That is what makes me glad. I will keep on being glad.... (CEV)

Colossians 3: ¹¹It doesn't matter if you are a Greek or a Jew, or if you are circumcised or not.... Yet Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.... ¹⁴Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together. (CEV)

1. Why does God put some principles first and as more important than other principles?
2. How did Jesus become the most important person in our lives? Why?
3. How do love and obedience work together, and why did God say that they are all that matters?
4. Tell us why people are so important to God and why a small group helps us love people better.
