Titus 2: ² Titus, you must teach only what is correct. ²Tell the older men to have self-control and to be serious and sensible. Their faith, love, and patience must never fail. ³Tell the older women to behave as those who love the Lord should. They must not gossip about others or be slaves of wine. They must teach what is proper, ⁴so the younger women will be loving wives and mothers. ⁵Each of the younger women must be sensible and kind, as well as a good homemaker, who puts her own husband first. Then no one can say insulting things about God's message. ⁶Tell the young men to have self-control in everything. ⁷Always set a good example for others. Be sincere and serious when you teach. ⁸Use clean language that no one can criticize. Do this, and your enemies will be too ashamed to say anything against you....
    ¹¹God has shown us how kind he is by coming to save all people.... ¹⁴He gave himself to rescue us from everything that is evil and to make our hearts pure. He wanted us to be his own people and to be eager to do right. (CEV)

John 14: ²³Jesus replied: If anyone loves me, they will obey me. Then my Father will love them, and we will come to them and live in them. ²⁴But anyone who doesn't love me, won't obey me. What they have heard me say doesn't really come from me, but from the Father who sent me. (CEV)

John 17: ¹⁷Your word is the truth. So let this truth make them completely yours. ¹⁸I am sending them into the world, just as you sent me. ¹⁹I have given myself completely for their sake, so that they may belong completely to the truth.... ²¹I want all of them to be one with each other, just as I am one with you and you are one with me. I also want them to be one with us. Then the people of this world will believe that you sent me. (CEV)

Acts 2: ⁴²They spent their time learning from the apostles, and they were like family to each other. They also broke bread and prayed together. (CEV)

Proverbs 4: ²⁰My child, listen carefully to everything I say. ²¹Don't forget a single word, but think about it all. ²²Knowing these teachings will mean true life and good health for you. ²³Carefully guard your thoughts because they are the source of true life.

Matthew 4: ⁴Jesus answered, "The Scriptures say: 'No one can live only on food. People need every word that God has spoken.' " (CEV)

2. Who is it that will learn about and receive true life and good health?
3. When and how do Jesus and God actually come to us and live in us?
4. How and why should we become one with Christ and with each other as Jesus prayed for?
5. Why did Jesus say that we need every word that God has spoken more than food?
6. Explain a relationship that you have with others that helps you serve God better?
