Being With Jesus - Galatians 2: ²⁰I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me. Mark 10: ²⁸Peter replied, "Remember, we left everything to be your followers!"
1 Corinthians 2:¹⁶.... But we understand what Christ is thinking. (CEV)
1. How can we be sure of what Christ is thinking?

Luke 4: ⁴³But Jesus said, "People in other towns must hear the good news about God's kingdom. That's why I was sent."  Luke 17: ²¹There is no use saying, 'Look! Here it is' or 'Look! There it is.' God's kingdom is here with you." (CEV)
2.Who are you in Jesus' Kingdom, servant, king, guard, accuser, knight, bishop, pawn, why?

Rhythms of Work & Leisure - John 5: ¹⁷But Jesus said, "My Father has never stopped working, and that is why I keep on working." John 6: ²⁷Don't work for food that spoils. Work for food that gives eternal life. The Son of Man will give you this food, because God the Father has given him the right to do so."(CEV)
3. How do we help cook God's food, and where do we buy it?

John 7: ¹⁷If you really want to obey God, you will know if what I teach comes from God or from me.
Colossians 3: ²³Do your work willingly, as though you were serving the Lord himself, and not just your earthly master. Romans 12:²Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think.(CEV)
4. How do you make yourself get up, go to work, or do something you don't feel like doing?

Mt 6: ³⁴Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today. Ps 90: ¹²Teach us to use wisely all the time we have. Eph 1: ²I pray that God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you and will bless you with peace!(CEV)
5. With today's outrage and war, is it OK to worry about today if you don't about tomorrow?

Mt 22: ³⁷Jesus answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. ³⁸This is the first and most important commandment. ³⁹The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, "Love others as much as you love yourself."(CEV)
6. Where can you go to be safe and feel the love of the Lord, besides the church?

Proverbs 27: ¹⁴A loud greeting early in the morning is the same as a curse....
Proverbs 17: ¹⁷A friend is always a friend, and relatives are born to share our troubles.
Proverbs 27: ¹⁷Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.
Luke 6: ³²If you love only someone who loves you, will God praise you for that? Even sinners love people who love them. (CEV)
7. How are small groups like iron?
