The only one who truly knows the Father is the Son. But the Son wants to tell others about the Father, so that they can know him too. 28If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.291Take the yoke I give you. There is no secret that will not be well known. 23If you have ears, pay attention! 24Listen carefully to what you hear! 1 Corinthians 2: 13Every word we speak was taught to us by God's Spirit, not by human wisdom. Anyone who doesn't have God's Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish. 15People who are guided by the Spirit can make all kinds of judgments, but they cannot be judged by others. 16The Scriptures ask, "Has anyone ever known the thoughts of the Lord or given him advice?" But we understand what Christ is thinking. (CEV)
1 Corinthians 3: 1My friends, you are acting like the people of this world. That's why I could not speak to you as spiritual people. He sees through everything, and we will have to tell him the truth. (CEV)
Hebrews 5: 11Much more could be said about this subject. But it is hard to explain, and all of you are slow to understand. 12By now you should have been teachers, but once again you need to be taught the simplest things about what God has said. God will bless you in everything you do, if you listen and obey, and don't just hear and forget. (CEV)

Psalm 1: 1God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and won't follow sinners or join in sneering at God. 2Instead, the Law of the LORD makes them happy, and they think about it day and night. 3They are like trees growing beside a stream, trees that produce fruit in season and always have leaves. Those people succeed in everything they do. (CEV)
Psalms 78: 1My friends, I beg you to listen as I teach. 2I will give instruction and explain the mystery of what happened long ago. 3These are things we learned from our ancestors, 4and we will tell them to the next generation. We won't keep secret the glorious deeds and the mighty miracles of the LORD. 5God gave his Law to Jacob's descendants, the people of Israel. And he told our ancestors to teach their children, 6so that each new generation would know his Law and tell it to the next. 7Then they would trust God and obey his teachings, without forgetting anything God had done. 8They would be different from their ancestors, who were stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful to God.
