I really love Jean. She is a wonderful wife, a wonderful mother,
and a wonderful grandmother. I know that God is rewarding her. Yet I pray
that He will be kind to her. She is His daughter and He loves her much
more than I ever could.
I used to think that I could teach her about the Bible. Now I know that she was teaching me something much more important, how to love people, all kinds of people -- old and young, rich and poor, crippled and well, people of every nationality. She has fought a good fight, and she has finished her race. Jean has won the victory and is receiving all of God's wonderful promises. ---- While we are here on earth, we sigh because we want to live in that heavenly home. We want to put it on like clothes and not be naked. These tents we now live in are like a heavy burden, and we groan. But we don't do this just because we want to leave these bodies that will die. It is because we want to change them for bodies that will never die. God is the one who makes all of this possible. He has given us his Spirit to make us certain that he will do it. So always be cheerful! As long as we are in these bodies, we are away from the Lord. But we live by faith, not by what we see. We should be cheerful, because we would rather leave these bodies and be at home with the Lord. But whether we are at home with the Lord or away from him, we still try our best to please him.

Jean C. Howard Entered This Life December 14, 1925 Entered Eternal Life November 14, 2005 On Nov 14, 2006, One year has passed since Jean left this world to enter that home in Heaven that will last forever. Paul wrote: As long as we are in these bodies, we are away from the Lord. But we live by faith, not by what we see. We should be cheerful, because we would rather leave these bodies and be at home with the Lord. But whether we are at home with the Lord or away from him, we still try our best to please him.
2 Corinthians 5: 6-8 (CEV)
How shall I keep
running my race towards the goal, to win the prize of being called to Heaven?
Now I've got to face a new way of living without the presence of Jean.
But this is all in God's wonderful plan for my life.
And all of us have to patiently endure these same circumstance as we reach the last years of our life on earth. As Paul also wrote, God is the one who makes all of this possible. He has given us his Spirit to make us certain that he will do it. So always be cheerful!
Corinthians 5: 5-6 (CEV)

You have now come to Mount Zion and to the heavenly Jerusalem. This is
the city of the living God, where thousands and thousands of angels have
come to celebrate. Here you will find all of God's dearest children whose
names are written in heaven. And you will find God himself, who judges
everyone. Here also are the spirits of those good people who have been
made perfect. And Jesus is here!
Hebrews 12: 22 -- 24 (CEV)
